Every second class in this game involves summoning, building, or training a group/army of minions, inanimate or live, to go out and fight others for you. Practically everyone could have seperate troupes and fight indirectly.
Well, not anymore.
Say hello to the ultimate summon counter: the Hypnotist. Hypnotists would take control of ONE enemy at a time (but not per battle!), provided two conditions are met:
(A) There are a fair amount of enemies facing against the Hypnotist, and
(B) The enemy controlled is weak in relation to both the Hypnotist and the other members of the enemy's party (NO LEGENDARIES!). While controlled by the Hypnotist, the controllee has the same stats, abilities, and attacks as it had while not under control, as well as any ailments (poison, etc.) from before. When the controllee is defeated by its original party or owner, it is freed of control. The Hypnotist may also choose to free the controllee at any moment, yet is will IMMEDIATELY return to its original alignment.

If a Hypnotist is confronted by a single enemy, or a small amount of enemies in relation to the Hypnotist and any allies to the Hypnotist, "Half-Hypnotism" may be used. Half-Fypnotism simply reduces the offensive capabilities of the opponent, and slightly reduces speed. Through certain training, Half-Hypnotism may also surpress ONE attack or ability the target possesses. (This attack/ability is decided during Half-Hypnotism initiation and MAY NOT be changed for the remainder of the battle!)

Hypnotists would have high Agility, so as to ensure hypnotism before being attacked, and high Stamina, to take a few more hits than those loser summoners.
Hypnotist's lowers stats would be physical abilities, 'cuz you're not supposed to let your opponent get close anyway.
High-Strength classes like Warrior and high-Agility classes like Rogue will be effective counters against Hypnotists due to their high stats being sufficient enough to depend on after the hindrance of Half-Hypnotism.
Regular hypnotism to control enemies and Half-Hypnotism MAY NOT be activated simultaneously!

Finally, a question: can we have rivals?

Rivals can be a good idea. If there allowed, I know who to choose!

Although I'm not sure if Phoenix would actually let me in this comic series...

Anyone's allowed in, with limitations...
